We develop Spanish-language learning strategies and programs specifically for business markets. We focus on two specific areas of expertise: The first is beginning-to-end Spanish fluency in a “nothing left open to guess” approach that goes beyond other programs that attempt to teach you just enough to get by with “textbook Spanish.” We’re a lot more perfectionist than that because we know that our clients are driven, take-no-prisoners type of businessmen and businesswomen that rely heavily on a strong confidence and competence in their linguistic abilities. Therefore we embrace every aspect (the good, the bad, the ugly, the archaic, the modern, the slang, etc…) in an innovative and interactive way to keep the learner engaged and entertained while learning Spanish because, in the end, obtaining fluency is all about obtaining a new, exciting, effective, and everlasting part of the learner’s life. Our vision is that the program should be completely customizable to fit the learner’s lifestyle instead of having a plain, boring program staring you in the face hour after hour. Everyone has their own way of learning and we want to help our clients find their own “Rumbo.” Our second area of expertise deals with the specific vernacular, customs, norms, and trends of business Spanish in Mexico. Business interactions in Mexico requiring in-depth knowledge and understanding of local dialects and implications of vocabulary and linguistic tone range from official communications such as letters, faxes, emails, in-person meetings and evaluations, and conference calls to secondary communications of equal importance such as marketing strategies, slogans, and stakeholders’ concerns and appropriate linguistic strategies and considerations to approach said stakeholders, all of which require an intimate knowledge and understanding of Mexican Spanish. Direct and indirect implications of vocabulary and tone are taught in-depth and the client is guided through the process so he or she can also understand all cultural implications that are carried in behavior and body language in Mexico because, knowing that our clients are distinguished businessmen and businesswomen, we recognize that bottom-line results are always at stake.
